Thank You; Disability Services Investment - NYS FY26 Budget

Thank you for your continued support of disability services in the FY25-26 New York State Budget. This is not something I or disability advocates in my community take for granted. There was a decade when disability services received little to no investment. Thanks to you and your continued advocacy, New York State has become a place where people with disabilities can flourish with supports needed to lead the lives they choose, in health and connection to their community.

The 2.6% targeted inflationary increase, alongside Governor Hochul's 2024 rate rebasing created a nearly 15% increase in our largest programs and reflects meaningful progress for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
